1. Information We Collect
MakerMind collects account information such as name, email, authentication identifiers, legal consent records, marketing opt-in status, studio profile details, and billing status. The app may also store inventory, materials, ingredients, products, formulas, orders, customers, suppliers, expenses, invoices, images, production plans, marketing campaigns, support reports, and integration status.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to create and secure accounts, provide the app, run AI and planning workflows, sync or display connected services, process billing, send transactional messages, honor marketing preferences, provide support, diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and improve product quality.
3. AI and Processing Providers
When you use AI features, relevant studio context may be sent to the configured AI provider to generate a response. MakerMind is designed to keep provider API keys and integration credentials server-side where supported. Do not enter sensitive personal information, regulated product formulas, or trade secrets into AI prompts unless you are comfortable with that provider processing the data.
4. Marketing Emails
New accounts may choose to receive MakerMind beta notes, launch materials, product education, and newsletters. We record the opt-in source and version of the legal documents accepted at signup. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails without closing your MakerMind account; transactional and security emails may still be sent when needed.
5. Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell studio data. We share information with service providers only as needed to operate MakerMind, including hosting, database, authentication, billing, email, AI, analytics, support, marketplace, and carrier providers. Connected integrations may send and receive data according to their own terms and privacy policies.
6. Security and Retention
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect account and studio data. No system is perfectly secure. We keep data as long as needed to provide the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, maintain backups, and enforce agreements. Account deletion or export requests may require identity verification.
7. Your Choices
You can update many profile, theme, inventory, order, marketing, and integration settings in the app. MakerMind provides a self-serve JSON backup export and restore tool for owner-scoped studio records and uploaded beta files. Provider secrets, billing credentials, and server-owned security records are not included in the export. You may also request help accessing, correcting, exporting, or deleting account data by contacting support. Some records may need to be retained for legal, security, billing, backup, or audit reasons.
8. Children and Sensitive Uses
MakerMind is intended for business and studio operations users and is not directed to children. Do not use MakerMind to store sensitive health, biometric, payment-card, government ID, HIPAA-regulated, child-directed, controlled-substance, firearms, cannabis, alcohol, or other regulated personal information unless a written agreement says that use is supported. Skincare, apothecary, food-adjacent, and other regulated-product studios may use MakerMind for ordinary studio operations, but must use their own qualified compliance process for labels, claims, allergens, testing, recalls, and required records.
9. Updates and Contact
We may update this Privacy Policy as MakerMind changes. The version date above identifies the policy used for account consent. Privacy questions and requests should be sent to legal@makermind.studio or MakerMind, LLC, PO Box 717, Cripple Creek, CO 80813.
